Flea market find

Picked this up at the flea market this morning can’t find anything on it. There are 4 lines on the tang top line c and k 2nd line can’t make out 3rd line brothers and the last line Sheffield As you can see from the pics there are no bolsters and the scales are brass.

C & X LOCKWOOD BROS. SHEFFIELD c 1849-present Located in Sheffield, England, this company uses the trademarks "Real Pampa" with a running Ostrich stamped on the blade.

Is it possibly C & X LOCKWOOD BROTHERS?
Hit with some fine steel wool and #2 pencil.....that'll clear it up without harming the stamp!
