All About Pocket Knives

Hello. New on this forum and checking to see if there is anyone here that may know anything about this Swinguard. I love the white pearl style handles so I went on a quest not to long ago and now have 3. I know where the other two came from but not this one. 11" and has great snap to it. Remends me of my sons 11" Beltrame so guessing this is a Frank B outta the 60's?? Yes...no??

Welcome to AAPK! Knife looks European to me. That's all I can guess from the pictures. With no maker's name on it it's difficult to get information on these, but maybe someone else here will know more. Give it a few days for someone to see it.

Thanks. Thats where I got the knife from.and seller had only guesses to it as well. That's when I went online and found this forum. I do appteciate your idea.

The patent on your knife actually belongs to Angelo Campolin, Sr. (deceased)
While I don't remember who actually made these- it wasn't Frank Beltrame.

Wow and how cool to hear that. Thanks Bill. If you do come to remember anything else I'd love to hear about it. While it reminds me of a 11" stag swinger I gave to my youngest son made by Frank B. This one just seems to feel a tad nicer and flicks with more authority. Aga8n thank you. Appreciate your knowledge.

I'm pretty sure Frank doesn't make any swing guards.
All the Italian makers claim to make everything. In reality, they each specialize in one or two types, and sell each other's goods as their own.

The 11" Stag I have has frank b stamped & it's a swinger. ?? It is here but my youngest son is its keeper now.
