All About Pocket Knives

I am ready with another tinker's folder. It is 13.5 cm long when closed and 23.7 cm when opened. The blade is 10.2 cm long, 31 mm wide and 5 mm thick. It is a san mai, forged of barbed wire with a 5160 core. Unfortunately the weather is crappy and so are pics, sorry.

Interesting lock and release mechanism. Regarding the barbed wire: what do you mean? Surely you did not melt down wire to make the blade ...

It is forge welded. A few wip's attached for enlightenment.

Okay, I get what you mean. My Dad did some blacksmithing type stuff and showed me how I could weld steel by hammering it together red hot. Why you would use barb wire is another question. Anyway, the results look cool.
