Hi,
New guy here down in Florida. I like knives and over the weekend this 3 rusty ones made their way in a box from a sale. Free.
First one is a rusted royal brand cut co. Sharp cutter. Missing tip and very rusted.missing a part of handle. On the opposite side from the name stamp on the small blade there is no." 46" stamp

- Number 1.
The second one has stamp Miller Bros. Cut co. Meriden. On the handle has stamp uncle Sam plug. Good shape. Good steel.
Last one looks beautifull but I have no info about it.

On the last knife the IKCO stamp is for imperial knife co. I think that would be a pre ww2 knife, but not sure. It doesn't look like it was used much.
Welcome to the forum.

Howdy, fanetem!
What part of the Sunshine State are you from? We are in Washington County, middle of the Panhandle.
Free is good and you got some interesting free knives worth carrying home.

Congratulations!

Welcome to AAPK.
Miller Bro's knives don't show up frequently. Lucky find there.
The last one is a baseball bat figural with Celluloid handles. Keep it someplace dry and out of sunlight. (wait a minute!! Did you say Florida?) Celluloid has a reputation for outgassing (destructive deterioration) and taking near by knives with it. No one seems to know what causes outgassing. It just does. Your knife has lasted this long, maybe it will never outgas.

Thank you so much for the info. I am in Charlotte county on the west coast of Florida. I want to learn more about old knives and how to take care of it.

My ex-s-I-l lives just a little due east of the Rotonda West area. We've been down there a couple of times and stayed at their place. Nice area.

I know that area. Good estates sales during this time of year.

Nice finds! If you decide to part with the Miller Brothers, please shoot me a message! My grandfather used to carry one, and I'd love to find one to keep (to remember him by). Thanks!
