All About Pocket Knives

This is one I bought with an older Queen knife about a month ago.
I was photographing them today, and I can't for the life of me figure out this tang stamp or ID the knife.
I imagine many of you know the knife just from what it is so I appreciate the help.

The knife is a mess but it will help to know what it is.

My first thought on this was that it is an Imperial knife with shell handles BUT in the second line of the stamp I can make out a "35" as the last digits, and the third digit on that line appears to be a "2". So it appears to be a line of 8 digits over "U.S.A.", and the top line I can not make out at all.

Can't make out the name but the bottom line of the stamp looks like it says,'ENGLAND"

Ray, I don't see anything there that looks like "England". I do see the bottom line like Ken does -- U.S.A.

Ken, it looks like the handles are Celluloid. True? I see no handle pins so if they are Celluloid, how are they held on? Look inside the blade well. Are there triangular punch out's to indicate prongs sticking out into the handles? The knife looks like it might be right at 3½" closed. True?

You are correct. Right on the money.
I actually made the front bolster with the hole in it (tang side) slide off, and back on again. Thank you 3 times for the help!

The handles are not Cell but something more similar to Nylon. They are very flexible, and I'm surprised that they have faired so poorly because with the bolster off I can move the scale out away from the frame about 1/4" before stressing it.

Right on the 3 1/2"mark as for length.

So for the thread it is a (Quote from linked thread) "Patented Oct. 6, 1942 BOLSTERED HANDLED CUTLERY Albert Edward Allen, Yorkville, N. Y., assignor to Utica Cutler Company, Utica, N. Y.,"

I cant imagine it is later than this date due to the war effort...
