All About Pocket Knives

Need help identifying a knife for my father.

Found a website called it a Closed Eagle Loopback pocketknife
Number-4001655

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure I follow your question. It sounds like you know what the knife is.
All I can add is it is most likely made in China, It is a similar design to an older Spyderco Civilian.

I think you might have read a typo too.
4" closed, Eagle, Lockback knife This is just a guess tho.

Eagle knives are a non brand really. That knife has lots of brand names including Mtech, Eagle Eye, Rite Edge, Frost Cutlery, ect...

I was looking for a possible brand name and after more research, I found the knife, just not the hook blade.
There are a lot on eBay with the straight blade.

I have no idea what your plans are or why you are looking for a similar knife but I have to say that most of the knives sold by those brands I listed, will fall apart, and are not good quality at all.

There are other China based brands that are actually very nicely made knives that are about the same price range if not less expensive. Rough Rider makes over 200 different patterns, and 20 bucks is about the top of their line in pocket knives.

Then you have real Spyderco knives that are made in china for around 30 bucks, and of course the well known American brands like Case that still have less expensive daily knives, and are made in America

If your looking to buy a knife for Dad or whomever... Stick around. There is a lot to learn that can save you a lot of grief down the road.

With that info I was able to find the exact knife and purchase it.
The knife does have old of names associated with it making it somewhat difficult.

My father just wanted an “el cheapo” that he can use at work. So this will do for now, unless they both break LOL.

He has had the one he has for some time so it will be a decent Christmas gift.

I am more of a traditional knife guy but I believe that blade is called a karambit.

It is a very inexpensive import from China, wholesaled by a box of twelve. I do not recall a specific name but if memory serves the were around a $1.00 each or $12.00 a box.

50 cents
