Never seen one before. Best guess is a modification of a factory knife. Is there a pattern number on the blade?

Is it inconceivable that a case knife could advertise Remington guns and ammo ?

Maybe, but Case never made knives like that in their factory, with transparent handles.

If it was a factory made "ad" knife, it would be an imprinted smooth handle or an etched blade, or both. But nothing like that.

Not inconceivable but it looks like the OP handles are held on by the rocker pin only. Not a factory job.
