All About Pocket Knives

I know that this is mainly a forum for slipjoints, that is what brought me here. I also like fixed blades, and have building them for about five years now. I call my knives Sheep’s Foot Knives.
Here are a couple that just came off the bench. Both 1084.

Here is another one from last month.

1084 with olive wood scales, triple liners, and mosaic pins.

Super looking knives. I think you did great on all three. What a skill set.

A few more to fill a couple of orders.
Smallish at 4.5” overall, with pocket slips.

Wow Tony don't see even one that is not fabulous. How many you make a month? Are they all based on orders? Really quality stuff. I think that one with the Olive wood is my favorite.

In the winter months I make one a week, or so. Unless I have an order. Then I work to fill orders.
I always make a few extra to set out at local knife/gun shows. Usually don’t sell well at gun shows, but the traffic by the table ends up generating orders.

Another one in 1084. I use that for all of my stock removal knives as the heat treat is consistent.

No sir. I do not have a website. I should invest in one, but this might become work rather than a hobby. Thank you.

Here is a fresh back pocket knife in 1084 and micarta.

Hand forged from 52100 steel with brass buttcap and guard. Curly maple and stacked leather for handle.
Ought to make a fine skinner.

That curly maple looks great. As always, a really great knife. Have plans for any more bowie's?

I have a few more knives to finish before another Bowie. Those are freelance, off the cuff. That takes to pressure off, and allows this to remain a hobby.

I certainly agree with the comments about the striking curly maple. However, for me, the very first knife is compelling. The lines and grinds just all flow. I love that knife.
