Got this meyerco which appeared to be a STRUT' N 'CUT but did not have the usual blade etching that would say "STRUT' N 'CUT" and was wondering if anyone could ID this model or if it may be an earlier version it's made from AUS8A which I thought the earlier models were made from... just really not sure and you guys always seem to? Thanks in advance. By the way, the snap on this thing is ridiculous!

You'll have to make up your own mind. Compare what you have to this Meyerco Blackie Collins STRUT'N'CUT Rascal. I've had this since the early 2000's. It doesn't have a thumb stud because it has grooves cut in the back of the blade that help you open the knife by rotating the blade with the tip of your finger. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures of that particular feature but you can see the beginning of them in the third picture down.
