Here's another 70s dotted era 5383 with a blade marked Tested.

Somebody must have made a hundred or more of these fakes. There's about one a month that shows up on eBay.

Looks like someone ruined a decent newer knife in the process.

I sent the seller of this knife a note a couple of days ago, informing that the knife is counterfeit, along with a brief explanation of what is wrong with it. To my surprise I received a reply today from the seller. He has ended the auction.
Honest seller! Said he is a long time AAPK member but has been inactive here for several years.
