I have been teaching some of my students to do a little blacksmith type work . Here are a couple of projects that I did. One is a steak hook and the other is a cooking fork. They are made from 1/4" key stock and handles made for chipping hammers. They are heated and twisted and all the sharp ends are drawn out with a hammer. Thought you guys might like to see them.

They are both a nice piece of work.
I can imagine how they might someday wind up in an antique store, as a genuine american primative. You just need to leave them outside for awhile to acquire some "patina".

We are also working on a set of fire place tools. They are looking good so far.
