Has anyone ever seen "Puma" use this logo?
I got this knife a couple of weeks ago and something just does not seem right about it. I have very little knowledge about Puma's, I have only seen two prior to this one. Couple of things that concern me, 1) it does not have any other markings, pattern #, date code, etc. The sheath is not stamped Puma like all i have found on the internet.

There's a guy here that's a Puma nut. If I can find him , I'll tell him to take a look at your photo. If anyone would know, he would.

Would help if you posted pics of the whole knife. It looks like the logo Puma used on their sheath knives after WWII.

I will go further and say that without pics of entire knife, both sides, it is not possible to make an assessment. Reading the knife itself is far more important than reading whatever the markings say.
Just because a knife has "Solingen" or "Germany" on it does not necessarily mean it was made in Germany, it might only have passed through Germany.

Wow, it's a Folding Bowie knife. These are worth some $$.
I do not know significance of no markings on sheath or who actually made this knife but it is still fairly valuable. If it turns out to be pre 1964 (no date code) then it would be VERY valuable.
Hopefully someone with specific info on this knife will post.
