Yikes!

Yesterday, I was sitting in my office, on the computer and I stood up to take a stretch and looked out the window that faces south toward the creek and bigger than s..., there stood a BIG black bear, about 40 yards off, nosing around the deer feeding station. He probably weighted at least 300 lbs. There's a wild apple tree down by the creek that's loaded with apples and I got a call from a neighbor who warned me about the bear and suggested I bring my dogs in if they were out running around. What a National Geographic Moment! 
The bear and cougars sightings down in the valley among the houses have really been increasing lately. Perhaps I need to get my hunting license and buy a bear tag. I wouldn't mine a bear skin rug at all....especially one THAT big!
