All About Pocket Knives

Hello,
I just inherited these knifes from a friend but know nothing about them. Has anyone seen them before or know anything about them? They came in a nicely decorated steel box photo of the box and knifes below. Please enlarge photos for detail

The only thing I can tell you is that they were made in China. Cannot say by which manufacturer.

There was a tiny little sticker on the bottom of the box that said "made in china'. Does this mean they are garbage?
They are quite "pretty" though

Your inherited knives may not have a lot of value dollar wise but being inherited from a special friend might make them very special.
I have several knives from China and other countries that I wouldn't buy but since they were gifts by well meaning family and friends, they remain in my pile.

Being made in China does not mean a knife is 'junk'. Chinese cutlery manufacturers are able to make knives of whatever price (quality) the buyer wants to order. Knives like you are showing us are not considered collectible because there is no history behind them. By contrast Case or Queen knives are very collectible and both companies have over 100 years manufacturing knives, i.e. some history.
However any knife can be collected if the person wants to, there are no rules, every knife potentially qualifies.
As to their quality of construction, most likely the blade steel will not hold a sharp edge beyond a few cuts. They are made mostly to look at and admire the pictures on the handles.

Another important consideration is that if the Trump steel tariff remains in effect the average value of a made in China knife will rise from 1/2¢ to 3/4¢ each. Better stock up now.

You cannot use price to judge quality for knives made in China. For example Rough Rider and SanRenMu are Chinese made knives that sell in the $10-$20 range and their quality is consistently high. Rarely is there any 'issue' with either brand and they arrive sharp and edge hold well.
You could double or even triple the price and these knives would still be a good deal.

Not for the American worker who worked in cutlery or steel and his family, and his city, county, state and country who depend on his taxes.

Thank you all for the great info. I agree, collect what you like, and though the quality may not be great, these knifes are very handsome looking and I will probably never use them.
Some very good info here, and I thank you all for taking the time to voice your expert opinion to help me out. I have looked every where online and have found no equal to these knifes. The fact that they have no maker marks make it even more difficult to find. Would be interesting to see who is selling them and where they actually came from.
