All About Pocket Knives

Hi! I tried forever to get into this forum, email trouble and time issues etc but finally I'm in! I feel humbled to be in the presence of this wealth of pocket knife knowledge! The matter at hand, I bought an estate lot of collectable knives of all makes and conditions... nothing unusable and most are nearly perfect... but no boxes because most of them were framed or on shelves, or so I was told by someone from the auction company. I have plenty to research and a few I know but my research on this Robeson shuredge knife is yeilding little or no info. I've never actually found this knife in particular on the web or in person, that I can remember any way. I have posted that I have one of these on my social media account and I keep getting interested buyers, but I don't know where to price it at. I usually just look up tang stamps and can get a date range on any knife I have,but I'm not seeing that with this one. I've seen other "shuredge" knives in the past but they were just $20 regular old pocket knives. The heavy interest in this knife has my curiosity peaked and I wonder if any of you guys have any info on this knife. The pics are pretty self explanatory. Absolutely no cracks in the scales, not even hairline. Both blades " walk and talk" with great snap at the mid point, opened and closed. The smaller blade is very small but really doesn't appear to have been sharpened much, so I figure it is just a tiny blade. The main blade has the slightest bit of wiggle to it only when open, but far from bothersome or unusable. Both blades are pretty dang sharp, and you can tell they haven't been sharpened in years because the patina runs all the way to the absolute edge. There is no rust on this knife, none. Of course if one of you guys wants this knife, it's yours over anybody else, AAPK members have first dibs! What kind of date range am I looking at on this knife? My research lead me to believe between the 30's and 40's but that is just piecing things together and making my best guess. Probably way off haha! There is no sheild on the knife. No model or any other mark on the knife. I got the best pics possible but I'm no photographer. I just don't want to miss out on the sale and I also want to get (and charge the customer) what it is truly worth. Pics attached. I can't believe it... I got a wild hair... somewhere and googled "Robeson shuredge rochester tang stamp and it led me to a huge post right here on AAPK! Maybe because I wasn't a member before, I didn't see it? I don't know. Any other info you guys have would still be very much appreciated. Thanks!

1922 - 1939 is the date range. Now what else can we learn about it? What would be a good starting point for haggling? Handle material? Steel, Cool facts model name etc. Thanks!

There should be a 6 digit number on the back of the primary blade.

Hi, Bonez, glad to see you finally made it in!! Lot of good info around here and sometimes what the politicians call "misinformation" too. Some answers to questions will be incorrect, but most will be spot on.

Bonez,if you can get $20 for that knife,I would take it and run.It was as economy knife to start with,and it has major issues.

Looks like a 622331 from the WWII period, given the rough black composition handles.

Well used to worn out condition.

Not much value left in her.
