Getting ready to put this up on eBay. These are all 4nd Gen (1997) Doctor Prototype Knives with the wonderful oversize spatula blade. There in Mint or Close to mint condition. I just thought I'd show them off before listing them. If anyone is interested let me know.
I can't decide if I should selling as a set or single. What do you think ??

" selling as a set or single" ?
The 4 make an attractive set and all you need then is one buyer. My take on Bulldogs is that the more recent ones generate less interest than the earlier ones. Either singly or as a set it might take an attractive price to get a sale. Newer collectors of traditional style knives are all agog with GEC knives and this decreases the demand for other brands.
Most medical schools have a late Spring graduation date. You could advertise them as "A special gift for the newly graduated MD". Then a buyer might think that a higher price is deserved because who wants to give the graduate a cheap gift ?
Good luck,
kj

Jerry yours are very nice. Is the bottom one MOP or Bulldogs Cracked Ice like the one I posted below.
I sold a stag model with large oversize spatula (Not Prototype) in November on eBay for $140. I don't think my Prototype's will sell that high. I'll let you know. Posting them this weekend.

I have it listed as Pearl. It finally soaked in that the ones you have posted are all Prototypes and none of mine are that. They're all just regular old everyday production run.

"Prototype" is over used, especially by the Parkers. To me "prototype" on a knife is not significant and there are other collectors who think the same.
Buy a knife because you like it, not for a Prototype etch.

But buyers like shiny things with fancy words like "Prototype" I'm not going to stop them from paying a little more because its a Prototype.
