These pics are the best I can do. I had to clean a lot of rust and corrosion off but leave enough (I hope) metal to read. I don’t recognize the name on this tang, but I’m sure someone in the group will. Let me know if you need other pics. Thanks!

I believe it says Jim Dandy. I think Robeson made it The guys with the actual big brains should show up later and tell us if I'm correct. ___Dave

Thank you guys! I figured someone would recognize the partial letters. Any value?

In its current condition that would be an excellent user, in my opinion. I'd EDC something like this over a newer knife with the "C" word on it, once again just my opinion.

There were 2 manufacturers who had "Jim Dandy" knives, Robeson, and Kutmaster i think is the other one.

I don't think Robeson made the OP knife.

I posted one of these back in December that I found and it was missing the shield and had a non original master blade. Some AAPK members posted good pictures of theirs and stated that the ones stamped Kutmaster were made by Utica and the other manufacturer of the ones like yours stamped Jim Dandy was unclear, but Robeson was not indicated. The post was "Anyone recognize this?" under the General Knife Discussion. I saw a real nice one stamped like yours recently at a flea market sell for $15.
