All About Pocket Knives

This little folder wasn't made in Winsted, Ct. or Walden, New York.
Surely, it was made across the pond. Somewhere. France? Germany?
Someone here must have an idea.

It's a well made knife. It has a nice strong spring and no wobble.
Plastic covers of some kind. 3 3/8" inches.
No markings.

I think it's French. The French often put the stamp on the blade, not the tang. It often happens when the shallow marking is erased with time of use and more aggressive cleaning.

I would agree that it is likely of French origin.Something about the shape of the nail mark on French knives and the threaded bolsters.

it's a fruits folder knive typically french. many knifemakers have made this kind of knive from 1800 to beginning of 20th century.
