New slipjoint fresh from the bench.

i have been trying to finish this one for a while.
It went straight from the bench, to a few pics, to a pocket. The owner was at the shop when I put the edge on it.
Not perfect yet, but each one teaches me another lesson. Mostly lessons in the school of patience.
1084 blade and back spring, hand sanded satin finish.
Polished Micarta scales.

Very cool! The only thing I'm not so sure about is the head of the screw being proud of the handle. I think I would prefer it to be recessed.

TFL, yes, I am still working through the pivot. This is not the end design for me.
XXC it is 3 3/8” closed.

Best Edge Grind I Have seen Yet , I Like -em Deep And Sharp , What Angle did you Sharpen At T.W>

I should have a scientific answer, but I don’t.
The bevels were ground until I reached the top of the blade, and the secondary edge bevel was ground by hand.
I do not use any fixtures or jigs. Just hands and eyeballs.

Wow T Wood, great job eyeballing the grind and angles. True craftsman's touch. Sweet looking knife. Ever consider making one to sell? PM me with a price if you're interested in parting with something in that vein. Really good looking piece. Keep it up.
