Got this one a few days ago and failed to post her in the Queen forum.
After cleaning most of the rust from the steel bolsters I have made friends with the ol' gal! I carried her all day today and used her several times and am well pleased. As I was reading the forum, I realized the Queen City with the steel bolsters and steel frame was probably produced during WWII, so she is probably only a year or so older than me. :)
When this one breaks over from the half stop, you better not have a finger in the way!

Those Queen City knives are fine knives. I wish they had bone covers.
The spring on mine is just about inconvenient.
You're right, you must have your fingers clear on closing.
