Here's a beauty, no nail nick that I can see on the spear yet it's still got $80 in bids on it. Are people blind? (Or am I??). Sheepfoot's wrong too, it's on the wrong side and the nail nick is on the wrong side. NYK did the smaller blades in front, nail marks all on same side.

Look at the last picture where the back springs are shown. The pen blade is 1/2 the width of the back spring. Looks like the main blade is to wide and crowding the center liner over.I like the wood on it though.

Kerry, that's because oftentimes the old cutlery companies would use a thinner spring and tang on the pen blades, while the pocket blade would be wider as well as its corresponding spring. The springs in that knife are in the correct spots but since the blades have been taken from who knows where (the sheepfoot was possibly from a cattle knife) and installed in reverse, nothing matches up or fits. I really can't stand it when folks try to sell abortions like that as the real thing. It should be thrown in the closest bonfire.

Thanks for posting the pics Dimitri!

That’s something I always look at, it’s a dead give away that somethings cobbled together.
