Carving knife and steel

Picked up these at my local antique store. Knife has no markings. Steel has Cast Steel on it. Steel has bone handle. Knife has what appears to be stag. Anyone know about these? Thanks for any help.

The blade looks short i think because picture is at an angle ?
Can you post pics taken from directly overhead ? maybe: entire knife, close up of entire handle and of blade.
