sgian dubh

Made this little dagger some time ago with around 200 layers of 5160 and 1.2516. The handle is padouk and bronze. Hope you like it! :)

Yeah, it really takes a lot of effort, but unfortunately I haven't found any other easier way to make it. :roll:

Supposedly, there's one that at one point, was in my family from the time of the Scottish Revolution until 100 years ago. No one knows what happened to it.

Compared to the mass-produced ones from Sheffield makers, this actually looks more like one that would have been made way back when.
