One button knife

Supposedly this knife was purchased in a P.X. In 1944. I can,t find this pattern in any of my books. This one has never been carried or sharpened.

Hello, Your knife was made between 1940 and 1956 according to tang stamp.it is called a single blade jack which is the more common model. The 2 blade model is the scarcer knife. Don't have a model number for you but yours is a nice example. Have a good day and God bless, Randy

Very nice!!! Don't know much about it but I think Randy is right, 1940s.
