.HELP New York Hammer Brand Timber Scribe.

Howdy, Would you call this a pocket knife or a pocket scriber Or maybe both ? Hammer Brandon sold out to imperial In 1930s because of the depression. I think they made better knives than Imperial did . It has been used and Carried but it still walks and talks . There is no wobble in the blade and everything is still real tight. Please take a look at my pictures And let me know what you think it is worth.
This is the first one I have ever seen Has anyone else seen one ? Thank you in advance Jed

I have a Camillus, mine has a wood handle but I like the brass handled ones.

Thank you guys for all the info It really helped I'd like to know how much mine Is worth Approximately?? When I was in the logging business we used a Big Blue crayon At the end of a stick to mark our logs.

The wooden ones go for about $30, the brass up to$50.
