Bittersweet victory

Where nine rivers were passing through,
where suffering was sweet and true,
where precious blood soaked the earth,
where a thousand deeds were unlearnt.
A horn cried on the castle's cape,
a warrior stood proud in crepe.
The black silk mourned instead of him,
the lonely glory brought no vim.

This forgotten war knife is 32 cm long. forged of leaf-spring and a few files. It has a 19 cm long edge. the blade is 7 mm thick.
Its handle is made of forged iron and wenge.
The sheath is hand sewn of thick cowhide.

Hope you like it :)

I will, but I have no idea when :( You know, I am always in a rush and constantly halting work to adjust and start and stop the camera is not helping at all. Actually it is quite difficult. (I really suck at multitasking)

Hellize, tres magnifique!! All of your knives are works of cutlery art. This example is extraordinary. The sheath is also fantastic. ::clapping:: ::not_worthy::

Csizmar, another triumph! I like the Damascus pattern, the shape of the handle, the art put into the decoration. The temptation is closing in on fruition. :D ::tu:: ::tu:: :D

Hellize...I just do not know what words to use that have not been already said
on that bud...Wow !!! It looks new, but it looks old, something out of the
middle ages..the shape of the handle with the dark wood, the pin placement,
and the shape at the hilt with the pins versus a guard so as not to run your finger
up the blade while maybe putting some heavy pressure on it..its just flat out cool
bud, wonder some hollywood prop guy does not contact you to make knives for one of
their movies of a bygone time era...you should be proud my friend !!!

Thank you very much! :) It really means a lot to me :D
Actually I am a big fan of middle ages fantasy films, A<B< C< D <E< F category. It doesn't matter :D Well, I am pretty sure, this is no surprise, to anyone here. But I doubt, that something like this will happen anytime in the future. I'm a microscopic fish in a giant pool. However, it sure would be awesome!
