Info On a Brantford Pocket knife

When my mother passed away I was given this knife and I would like to know about it as I suspect it is possibly 100 years old. Wouldn't hurt to know about what the value might be for insurance purposes.
How do I attach the photo? I tried from the "Attachments "Sorry I'm new.
Thanks,
Doug

I only have one Brantford, this bone handled stockman. All the books I have state that they were from around 1915, so your assessment that your knife is about 100 years old is very close. Value?? I paid $10 for the Brantford shown, but that was probably under priced. Not many people are interested in Brantford knives, or even know anything about them. The person I bought my Brantford from sold it to me for $10 because he admitted that he had never heard of them, and would be asking $40 if it was a Case or other well known name.

Brantford, like the others state isn't a very popular brand so even though it may be a hundred years old it doesn't have enough value to worry about insuring it. The small pen knife pattern is also not a highly sought after pattern.

A lot of value there as it was your mom's. Pretty special gift to keep.

That's a very special knife you have there Doug.
Welcome here.
Here is an old Brantford dogleg that I carry from time to time because it gets real sharp and is so well made.
