Venison Jerky in the makin’

After our deer season each year we take our venison from last season (if there is any left) and made jerky.
This batch started out at 6# of frozen meat. I made a batch of black peppered and two batches of teriyaki.
Wish you fellers were here, I would give you a piece.

I dislike anything remotely resembling "cooking" or food prep. However, I have leftover trimmings from last years' deer and a dehydrator, plus a long weekend coming up. And who doesn't love jerky? I think Imma make a batch...YouTube, here I come

Fellas, it turned out great!!
Scott, if I traded a portion of this batch I would be looking for a new home. My family would disown me!!
Here is the finished product.
As cheap as hunting is, I only have about $100 per pound in this stuff!!

My dad had a hydrator, and used to make jerky. Good stuff.
