72 clone or Schrade

This knife is listed as a Schrade Scout knife.The first thing you notice it has a main blade out of a 4"stockman knife 881Y means it should have yellow handles.As far as I know the only knife was made by Imperial with that blade combination and a scout badge.

I know nothing about the knife, but thank you for posting it. Good to see something other than Case knives discussed in this forum. I'm sure there are a lot of them out there.

It may be a Camillus that has had the main blade replaced.

You're on the nose with your diagnosis Grant. For sure an Imperial with a Schrade main blade.

For anyone who is wondering how Grant came by that conclusion:

The Schrade pattern number for the Camillus 72 clone was 863
Schrade never made a Scout version of the 863
The Scout versions were made by Imperial
Imperial never stamped a pattern number on any of the Carpenters & Whittlers Scout pattern
