Yeah....I tend to think they portray the people as they were in real life, not as Hollywood would have us believe. Man oh man....there were some mean, ornery people around back then, eh?

Yeah, it's amazing how much different things were back then. If you think about it, it wasn't that long ago. Wyatt Earp lived till 1929.

Ah, then here is a great question for us Wyatt Earp fans.

Which movie did you favor about Wyatt Earp, Kevin Costner as Wyatt in Wyatt Earp or Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp in Tombstone?

I'll make a poll in the General Off Topic Discussion, may make for a very interesting question since the movies were made about 1 year apart.

Both movies were great and I have both of them on dvd. According to what I read in books, the Costner was more historically accurate than Tombstone but I think I like Tombstone better. The actors on Tombstone were great. In fact, I told my wife just the other day that if the Tombstone actors were in the Costner movie, it would be perfect.

According to what I read on the Old West Outlaw site, Doc died 120 years ago today.
