All About Pocket Knives

I joined back in September & finally got around to writing an introduction. I did a good job, too. Got inspired. Filled the whole page. But, when I got to the point of submitting it I must have timed-out because I had to login, again. And when I did, my introduction wasn't there. So, I'll just say I'm geocash & I'm still glad to be here. (The other version was probably too long, anyway.)

I've seen you around geocash! I'm just tickled pink that your here. You should enjoy yourself as there are lots of friendly folks and a whole lot to learn here. We have a laugh here and there and get some free stuff every now and then. Just a downright fun place.

The time-out thing happened to me too shortly after I joined and I've often wondered if that still happens when composing long posts. I don't compose a long post very often but after that first incident I got in the habit of typing long posts in a Word file on my hard drive which won't time out on me. When I'm all done, I simply copy and paste it here.

Losing a long, thought out post can be very frustrating and I've found that this method eliminates the risk.

I don't think that has happened to me, but... I have composed a post, then hit submit, then... moved on before it actualized, and it was lost.
