All About Pocket Knives

Hey, y’all! As the username suggests I’m married to Wade, aka Colonel26. I feel like I know a bunch of y’all just from hearing Wade talk about you for years. I’ve had some of your numbers in my phone in case of emergency when I’ve gone on trips, some have given me knives for my purse and kitchen, and some have become like family (shout out to “Mr. D,” our favorite adopted Marine cuz).

I had to create a user ID here because I missed out on surprising Wade with a knife. I couldn’t use his user ID (obviously) for it to be a surprise, so here I am.

No. There was Kathy and (I want to say) Brett. Something that started with a 'B'. They did quite a bit of posting (her more than him) and then they got married and just kind of quietly slipped away. Kathy popped her head in sometime in 2018 for a brief visit.

Colonel 26 Wife you are most welcome here! It's always a pleasure to read Wade posts and I am certain you are part of the reason that he is always so pleasant. I hope you become an active participant in our little forum. It's always great to get the ladies point of view on matters of importance.

Weeeellll, the party’s all over now.

I blame all of this on Cal, Tongueriver. He had the nerve, the unmitigated gall, to post that Boker cattle knife for sale a while back. I sent the thread link to Valerie as a Christmas hint, and then got to thinking, what if the hint didn’t take! So I pulled the trigger and spoke up and made the deal.

A few days later I mentioned that I’d made the deal on the knife and she told me, “you stink”! She’d made an account here so she could contact Cal and buy the knife. Lol.

She’s a gooder’un (and so is Cal, btw, great guy to do business with).

Here’s the knife that started all this commotion just because evwrythread needs a knife pic.

She’s away at school today (going to be a nurse practioner, that’s my retirement plan so I can afford more knives!) So I found this one of us at church here awhile back. Hopefully she won’t skin me alive for posting a picture of her without her permission. Y’all don’t tell on me now.
