All About Pocket Knives

I have a freshly forged viking axe to show today.
Has a 11 cm / 4.33 inch long edge. The head itself is 16.5 cm / 6.5 inch long and the shaft 40 cm / 15.75 inch.
It is 740 grams in total with a roughly 500 gram head.

Yeah, they are a bit different. You know how steel is, sometimes it wants to move here sometimes there, so I usually end up with different result when forging.

We have crap weather lately with -15 celsius ad a lot of clouds. It took me 3 hours to hunt the perfect 2 minutes down for these shots

Depends on how you define "crap weather." Me, I love 15C plus or minus 2C (60F +/- 5F) and overcast. Don't mind a bit of snow coming down, either!

yeah, well, if it goes under 0 celsius, I can't forge weld properly, the hearth doesn't heat up as it should and I also freeze to death in the shop, and if it goes above 25 celsius, I get a stroke next to the forge because of the perfect forge welding temp

Hey Csizmar, move to Texas, in the summer it get hot enough you don't need a forge. Great work as always.
