All About Pocket Knives

I havent had anything to post in a while. Hope you fellas like this one. Started life as a Case Yellow handle Trapper, now has Stainless liners and Cocobolo handles with Nickle Silver hardware.

I'd say it's life just got a WHOLE LOT better. Cocobolo may darken a bit down the road, but that natural grain pattern is 100% irresisitable as is the file work. I don't know where you got the idea for that, but I would like to keep that one in my mind, or print a photo of it, if you don't mind.

The filework on the liners is excellent, keeps the knife nice and toned down, but it is certainly elegant. The vine looks great and the filework on each side looks to be nice and even. Excellent Work! Thanks for sharing!

Yes it does Muskrat... I think I prefer just the liners, but that also depends on the day

Thank you Hukk. The pattern came out of my melon, and I've got alot more up there if I just had time to work them out on steel. Sure print a pic of it if you like, imitation is the greatest form of flattery so let'er rip

I have two more prototypes like it to build then I plan on building 25 of them to sell next spring that will be numbered, and come with a pocket sheath or knife purse made of Elk.

That's some real nice liner filework that matches up quite well with a rope pattern. Both of those are quality work! I need to start doing more file work.

Why didn't I think of that

I'll say it again, elegance.

Now think of those in titanium. You can get some titanium and check the colors you can get, from pale yellow to green, (hardest to get) and and it will make a wonderful yet very subtle difference. The fileworked liner can have several colors by using the higher voltages first. Even blues and purples are easy to get, It's not very hard to do, but like anything else, it takes practice and technique. Ah heck, it's beatiful as is, keep up the fine work!!!!
