All About Pocket Knives

I was wondering if anybody has a list of all the patterns Remington made with an acorn shield? If not what would be a good book/ price guide to purchase. Thanks

That would be a pretty large list. Stewart and Ritchie book is as good of a modern reference book as I've found.

That would be any pattern with a punch if I'm not mistaken? Be careful, I've seen knives on eBay with an acorn shield and no punch and vice versa, there are quite a few cobbled knives out there.

Pile Driver , I second your comments about alot of knives on EBay are messed with but not all knives with punch blade had acorn shields. Certainly most but not all. John

The only thing I would say is if it has an acorn shield it 100% should have a bunch. But not necessarily the other way around. I hope that makes sense.

Correct, sorry I did not make that clear,

All factual information is great to know, and by all means set the record straight. I was moreso correlating an acorn shield to the inclusion of a punch from what I have been told.
