I have been exchanging emails with another AAPK member. About 5 exchanges into this email his reply comes in and in the header, for "Subject" the words "Blacklisted Sender" appear:

To: "Roland Procter" <[email protected]>
Subject: RE: [Blacklisted Sender] Re: Guess what

What does this mean ? i have never seen this before and have not downloaded any new programs, etc.
thanks for some help here.

No clue on this, Roland. Never even heard of such.
Were you emailing or personal messaging?

We were emailing and "Blacklisted Sender" appeared on his 4th email in the email 'thread'. I have done a lot of emailing and have never seen this before.
I wonder if i hit a certain key by error and it is for a "Blacklist" that i decide who goes into it ?

It would appear that the sender’s IP or email address has been blacklisted by your ISP (Telus?) or Telus’ webmail provider. This link might help to explain the process (but then again, it might not!):

Is it possible the email address got mistakenly flagged as a spammer???

For instance, I run a football pool at work with many members. before I created a group email list, I used to have twenty-something email addresses listed, and occasionally some of my recipients' mail servers would block it as spam.

That may not the be the same deal as your issue, but it could be something similar, where the ISP or mail servers are flagging it erroneously.

I think that article explains the phenomena pretty well. We certainly do not have an AAPK email blacklist. In fact, we don't have any blacklist that I am aware of and I've been a moderator or an administrator since about 2008.

 Wow, I didn't think it has been that l long!
Philco came on in 2009 and Miller Bro`s shortly after that.
My how time flies when you're having fun!

Thanks Greenman. The link does explain it. In this case the sender should not be on a Blacklist but the Blacklist program casts a wide net.
