VETERANS DAY

Thankyou those who gave some, some who gave all/
Thankyou those who tonite in harms way stand tall, so that freedoms torch, does not fall/
Thankyou those from Boston to Iraq for the sacrifices made
by those who never came back./
Thankyou to those who traded there limbs and now walk on trees/
Thankyou to those who came back in one piece with only the scars in there minds to intrude on there sleep /
Thankyou to those who patiently wait for there love ones, only there tears belie the loss of a familys best years./
You see everyone pays it is freedoms price/ Freedom is not free its price is sacrifice.
Some take our freedoms as birthright/ Tell that to the ghosts and those who stand guard in a faraway land this very night.
Tomorrow when you wake take a second or two. Look around at what you have and say Thankyou.
