The only thing better than a John Wayne movie is a John Wayne movie with Maureen O’Hara, Ward Bond, and Victor McGlaglan. Put all four of them together and it can’t be beat.

Watch The Quiet Man too. Now that one is one of the best movies ever made!!!

....I agree with you 100%, col.,in fact I can only think of 2 or 3 bad movies that he made, out of nearly 200!!.... .......

Some of the real early B westerns I don’t really care for, but most everything else he did I love. My boys (13,12, and love The Green Berets. It was a gooder’un too.

...there's so little stuff on tv now that I can watch. we watch antiques roadshow on miss. public tv on mon. night and the rest of the week it's J.W., unless there's something interesting on miss. public tv.by the way, have you seen the one they just started showing about the USS Indianapolis??...they now have underwater footage of the wreck, just recently have they been able to photograph at that depth, which is close to 15,000 feet. I think they said it was the deepest ww2 wreck....

I'm glad they went down there to photograph it. Better than going to the dam moon.
