Anyone here watched the Hell On Wheels series?

I'm almost through with season one and there are five seasons, total.

I like it, Sarah does not, so I watch an episode or three after she goes to bed.

My wife and I watched it, when it originally came on...and really liked it. It's probably PG + rated...not particularly for family hour.

Is that the 'I've been working on the railroad' series? If so, Bride and I watched every episode and enjoyed it very much.

I was impressed by the series. Very gritty.

I watched it real time and it was excellent, so much that I hated to see it end. Historically accurate for the most part but some mythical characters were added for entertainment value. I was a big fan of the Bohannon/Swede rivalry.

I think The Swede is back.

It was a good show. my wife and I watch it faithfully, hated to see it end.

Don't want to be too much of a spoiler...but I was hoping for another season...where he takes off, trying to find the girl.

Finished up the series. I really like the lead actor and the character he played.

Had I been the writer/director, however, when they took Gunderson down from the gallows and the Army Officer pronounced him dead, Bohannon would have drawn his revolver and shot him twice, in the head.

Which particular town are you referring to?

When I was a boy, I had a "HELL ON WHEELS" patch sewn on my jacket. Don't remember why. My Dad and most uncles were Navy veterans, not a tankers.

I live in a place called Puth,it is situated in the very southern part of the Netherlands(not far from Aachen Germany.)

....wow, tendots, I didn't realize that was where you lived!!...never got to get very far from the depot(nancy, france) when I was over there, and I regret it now!!......... .........................
