Slipjoint #10

My son is graduating from high school this year; plus this is slipjoint #10. So, I built a different model than the last nine.
This will be his graduation gift from me.

The shape and profile are my own, though everything we do is just a collaboration of what we have seen.

I have learned a few lessons, and a few tricks in these first ten knives. The first one looks very basic and primitive. I’m sure that this one will look basic after I build number one hundred. It has flaws, but is an improvement over the first one.

1084 steel, brass liners/scale pins/lanyard tube, nickel silver bolster and pins, mammoth ivory.

What a fine gift and great knife. I particularly appreciate your treatment of the bolsters. Everything about the knife seems first class to me.
