An interesting carving fork.......

Found this today at the local flea market for $1.50.No maker's name but it looks to be fairly old and well made.Has what appears to be a coat of clear varnish on it.

That reminds me of the wire forks we had back in the 50s for roasting weenies or marshmallows in a campfire. Those were longer though.

These 3 expandable forks bring back many, many, backyard cook-out memories.
Closed, 19 1/4 inches long. Open, 29 inches long. I still use them.

Yes, they do. Can't remember how many weenies and or marshmallows fell into the fire or coals because the "twig" I was using burned through.

Storm King highway, between West Point and Cornwall, that's Bannerman's Island behind my shoulder, figured you'd get it.
