All About Pocket Knives

Hello folks, I picked up this R1823 this past weekend which let to an afternoon spent reading up on the storied model. Based on the fact that this one doesn’t have a number stamped I’m assuming it’s one of the ones made for Wrigley. Is it true that those were all made in 1925? I

Cool pick up Bfeldman, wonderful old bone and a lot of the main blade left. Interesting to find out about the Wrigley connection.

I have one like that. How long is your's? Mine is 3 5/8".
How do you associate that number with your knife?
There are no numbers stamped on mine.
I like that long nail nick on the pen.

The R1823 possibly could be the highest produced pattern that Remington made. Stamped, unstamped, etched and unetched. Many companies had them made for there companies for giveaway knives. Here is some examples I have. Some of the shields can be rather rare.
