All About Pocket Knives

I bought this knife from Rick some years ago. I was really looking forward to using it as a dedicated 'for flesh only' hunting knife because it has the thinnest blade grind of any Hunter i have ever owned or examined. And it is truly scary sharp. However i changed from rifle to crossbow 3 years ago and did not shoot a deer for the last 2 years. I now realize i am unlikely to ever use it.
8 1/8" OAL, 1/8" CPM 154CM steel with deep hollow grind, cut swages and tapered tang. Handle is "ivory" Micarta and pins are black Micatra.
Sheath by Larry Parsons. It is a snug fit and you need to be careful when extracting the knife because if the edge touches your skin, no matter how lightly, there will be blood.
This knife is best suited to be used as a dedicated hunting knife for field dressing and/or butchering.
Price: $200 to include shipping.
If you were to order one from Rick the wait would be about a year and the price almost double.

Rick is an amazing cutler. I keep very few custom knives but I do have 2 of his folders. They are some of the very best out there and I promise I paid a lot more than this for them.

Thanks for the encouraging comments. It is a great knife and it really should get used which is why Rick took such exceptional care with the blade grind. It needs a hunter who will go hunting this Fall.
