"Ultra Rare" is how the seller describes it and boy is he right!
This mis-identified 'Ulster 2OT' has been apart and narrowed to eliminate the pen blade and that clip looks like it was welded onto the tang. But the good news is the price was recently dropped from $699 to $499 ::tu::

The photo does not show the tang stamp very clearly but it sure looks like it says "Schrade" rather than Ulster. I have to wonder where the seller gets the idea this is an Ulster knife. ::dang::

Seller is John Glenn. Maybe he is a bit 'spacey'.

I sent this guy a message requesting more info about the knife. I asked him if it was marked Ulster anywhere on the knife and asked if he thought that the knife originally had 2 blades. He informed me that it is tang stamped Schrade Walden NY USA and it is not marked Ulster and that the confusion arouse when he was "researching the knife". He informed me also that the 2 OT was the first Old Timer knife produced in 1959 and he apologized for such a dumb mistake in his ebay ad. He did not address if the knife had been apart or originally had 2 blades. He has changed the wording in his ad slightly but is still asking $499.99.

As far as i know all 2OT's had two blades. But the old adage is "with Schrade, anything is possible". Has anyone ever seen an original one blade 2OT ?

You're right about that adage - but there were definitely no single blade 2OTs coming out of the factory. Maybe the seller doesn't know (based on Olde Cutler's comment) about the knife's issues.
