Y'all got any MODIFIED Schrades (& Old Timers...)

Dale sent me some beautiful modified Old Timer pics. SO.... I thought I would start a thread so he AND ANYONE ELSE could post up your pics of mods or restorations you did (OR others did) on Schrades.
I have one I already posted elsewhere of a 125 OT that I found at the antique store with a messed up set of scales. But, to kick off this thread I thought I would show it again.

BEFORE....
001a.JPG
After.....
125 OT mod.JPG
I did a pretty heavy mod to it.....
I re-tipped it.
I put on the "dog chew" scales.
AND... I removed the liner lock. (I also cracked my scales by over tightening my rivets)
It was a learning experience..... I still use it.... It's a pretty good knife.

Anyway....
Show us some mods OR repairs!
Mike

Mike, it's some kind of burl, but I can't seem to remember what it is, sorry.

Thanks Mike. Here's a custom alligator sheath I grabbed to more evenly match the Williams Sharpfinger.

Mike wants me to post some of my early knives.
I think most of these come from 2007 or 2008.
This 3OT was one of the earlier knives I did, probably one of the first few 3OT's that I customized.

Here is the file work on the back springs, very rudimentary and probably one of the first knives that I attempted to to file work on.

This is a 123OT I made for myself. I still have this one. The stag on this knife came from the Henckels factory in Germany.

I made this one about January 2008 and later on in the year it was sold on eBay. A friend of mine happen to see it call my attention to it. As I recall it sold for considerably more than I had charged to build it.

I have always like Sharpfingers and in 2008 I did a bunch of them. The top one has a cocobolo wood handle and finger grooves.
The middle one is presentation grade Bokote also with finger grooves.
The bottom Sharpfinger has a handle of the impala jigged water Buffalo horn.

The handle on this knife is Mexican Kingwood. I used a polyurethane finish on this handle and after three days it was still not dry, and this was during 90° heat! It turns out that there are so many oils in Kingwood that normal finishes will not work on it, they just won't dry. I had to consult with an exotic hardwood specialist to get a formula for a mixture of finishes that worked. It looks nice when I was finished. Beautiful wood!

Here is a Primble I purchased that still had factoey edge a few years back, then had saw cut amber bone scales added. I carry this almost daily. Also an early Schrade Walden I purchased and had smooth redbone scales added. The last was a rusty early 70s 8OT I purchased with factory edge..it sat in someones dambp basement for 40plus years..it cleaned up super nice and got a 2nd chance.
