Well, I was looking for pics of a #15 last week.... BUT THEN, as I was looking back at that bunch of dead (actually only sick) knives, I see I have a #74 that needs help.
Well.... while looking thru the Camillus catalogs, I just can't seem to find a #74. The 1946 catalog skips from #73 to #91.... Same for the 1948 catalog.

The 1955 catalog shows the #72 then skips to #75.... still no #74.
The 1965 catalog..... same story as 1955...
No matter where I look.... ebay, the web, here on AAPK.... I can't find that a #74 ever existed.

The tang stamp does say #74 doesn't it?

Sorta look like mother of toilet seat scales..... I guess I could go off that for a restore.

Anybody out there actually got a #74 you can show me?

Thanks y'all...
Mike

Mike, it's the same story with the #53. No record of it ever being produced, yet here it is. Makes ya wonder if they both struggled for a foothold in the knife world at the same time.
