Not real sure if this goes in here ,but it’s my favorite forum so I thought I’d post it here..
Fathers Day gift from my then Six year old. He is an Eight Year Old now.

I've got a thing for the stockman/cattleman pattern. Just seems to me to be the right blade combo to carry.

If the OP knife is 3 3/8 inches, it was called a 'junior' cattle knife and is the same as the Schrade Walden 856. Really nice knives. Most did not have a shield.

Fellas he did so Well. He gave his mommy directions to the store, picked the knife from several. Made me proud and glad he was paying attention when I told him what to look for.

That's a nice one all right. It's very much the same as one with a schrade stamp like this.
