All About Pocket Knives

I'm looking for some African blackwood, maybe Ebony. Would consider Kings wood, snakewood, Chestnut depends on pattern and whether I already have it. These for my personal collection. I have some knives for sell here and eBay. Will trade if you see something you like. Looking for special items. Need one more 77 Yankee Barlow. Clips, Spears or wharnie, must be a single blade Lnit. Ck out my store 3fingermac, same on eBay. Also looking for Bocote Lion Steel Barlow's,2, either blade. All right clean out those safes. I appreciate any help you can give. I checked on eBay, looks like your 14s are hitting 300. After fees , shipping,ins, and signature confirmation, you'd still clear 250. I bought em originally for 120. But they're yours that's best I can find. It's what you want for it that counts. It might be worth more or less depending on how bad one wanted it.

Mac thank you for your posts which are helpful. I got these from Charlie and have not kept track of the collector interest. Seems mine have the 'rounded' handle of which there are fewer than the 'regular' handle.
I need to think about this for a bit. I will email in the next day or 2.

Everyone I've ever seen had the rounded handles. Never knew they was any other kind. But these aren't my patterns. Anytime Mac

90% of the 141118 barlows had a more chamfered edge to the handles. The more rounded edges on Rolands example were distributed by one dealer only. These were finished after the annual GEC shutdown. The more common model looks like this pic.

Rob, thank you for this very specific information. I do not have this 'deep' GEC knowledge and am grateful for those who do.

I have a 488214 Bird knife in exoctic bocote if interested. It has 1 blade but also includes a hook for field dressing small birds like doves.
