That Auburn v. Alabama game was the best I've seen in a while. It was a fight the whole game.

Iron Bowl was a great game for sure. What a battle !
In other news:
Kentucky set an all time single game rushing record against Louisville yesterday marching 517 yards up and down Kroger field, and they did it without a quarterback. For several weeks now Lynn Bowden, a wide receiver, has been taking on the role of quarterback because all Kentucky's real quarterbacks are hurt and unable to play. He's not too much of a passer so it's been ground and pound. Yesterday Bowden set an SEC rushing record for a quarterback with 284 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 45 - 13 romp over the Cardinals.

Maybe that will start a new trend.

I’m tired of “basketball on grass“ - ready to get back to real smash mouth football.
Won’t happen though. There’s too much money involved in throwing the football.

I'm with you Ken these 60 to 55 scores are not my idea of football. Alabama's defense couldn't catch a cold, that's why I think Ohio state will win it all as they have some semblance of a defense. We will see.

The Buckeye's kicked Michigan's A$$, will do the same to LSU!

LSU 's got a heck of an offense but I believe Ohio state's got enough d to get a few stops and I'm afraid LSU's d can't stop OS. We will see as I sure don't believe anyone else can stop those two, but I've been wrong before.

What's the old saying? On any given day................... Alabama found out about Auburn, again. Some times predicting a football out come is like forecasting the weather. I got one right yesterday, I knew Florida was going to beat FSU's eyes out. Win some, lose some and then lose again, sure miss the Bowden days of yesteryear!

If Ohio State, LSU, and Clemson stay unbeaten, then who will be the one loss team to get into the playoffs? I watched the Utah game Sat. and they look great, others think Oklahoma or Georgia. Opinions?

I think it will be Oklahoma.
Georgia will probably lose to LSU in the SEC championship game, and the voters will say that Utah doesn't have a "tradition of success".

Haven't seen him that angry since last year's national championship game.

Oklahoma will have to beat Baylor. Again. OU barely beat Baylor the first time and it’s tough to beat a good team twice in the same season. I frankly don’t think either team is worthy of being in the final four (Baylor should have two losses. Would have lost to Texas Tech but blatant missed call in OT gave Baylor another set of downs after the game should have been over. The conference admitted the refs blew the call.)
As much as I’d like to see a Big 12 team get in, IMHO several two-loss teams are better than either OU or Baylor. Hope I’m wrong.

I agree whole heartedly, I remember Tn. beating the tar out of Miami a few years ago and I firmly believe that Miami would have beaten them 9 out of 10 times, but that one time was the one that counted. And by the way I ain't predicting nothing I'm just making conversation, I couldn't care less one way or the other although GO SEC.

I will be pulling for Clemson in the playoffs and anybody playing LSU.
I agree, however, that OU will most likely win, humiliating, I hope, LSU in the process.
Have to say though, Alabama put more points on Auburn than any other team this year and they did it with a backup QB. Bo Nix took more snaps in the first half than Mac Jones had taken all year.
Our team gave Auburn 14 points and the refs gave them three.
They won by the three.
Stupid way for the game to end. Gus should be proud.

Just wondering what you Alabama fans and fans of SEC football in general think of the hiring of South Dakota native Kalen DeBoer by Alabama? I was kind of shocked, many sportswriters had written that Sabans replacement would have to be from Alabama, went to school at Alabama, or have some other tie in, which DeBoer has none of.

I wish the young man well. But it’s really hard to follow a legend. I’m old enough to remember when Bear Bryant retired. They hired several successive very good coaches including Gene Stallings who was an outstanding coach. None of them performed to the level of Bear Bryant in the eyes of those fans.
Hopefully Alabama a fans will give the new guy enough leash to succeed. Based on their past history, I doubt it. The expectations are not realistic.
