Miller Bros Cattle..Fake or Not??

Hey Guys/Gals, Buddy of mine is learning about antique knives & posted this knife on my "facebook group". I am trying to Help him out so please bear with us. Here is the link to my group.

I very much appreciate you guys helping us out to validate my suspicions about this knife being a fake miller.
Please comment as necessary to help Mr. Cole Smallwood out so that he dont get burned again.

It looks a lot like all the Utica Kutmaster fake jobs that were going around.

Looks like a Parker repro from the 1990s. The lack of the distinctive swedgeing & handmade love & careing that went into the antique pocket knives, is missing from this example. ... Bottom line no swedge, not old.....

It looks new. Everything about it. It doesn't have “soul”, or whatever it is that a knife from the early part of the 20th century has. In his post Barry called it the “handmade love and caring”. You have to look at and handle a
lot of knives to understand and recognize that. I don’t know how else to explain it.

I agree...modern fake made out of Utica parts. Many of these floating around with a variety of older tang stamps.
I believe that Parker did use the Miller Brothers trademark, but this is not one of his. The ones that Parker had made were done by Olbertz, high quality but easily recognizable as Solingen/Olbertz made.
